Job Description



  • Our client, a notable Japanese MNC that manufactures electronic products is currently looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager for LCD products.

    Reporting to: General Manager

    \xe3\x80\x90What you will be working on\xe3\x80\x91
    a) Budget plan
    • Gather accurate data for developing a half-yearly budget plan.
    • Follow up with customers to achieve sales as per the budget plan.
    • Study & Understand the Budget plan allocated to the team, work toward achieving the budget plan and target that set forth.

    b) Sales & Marketing Activities
    • Obtain the latest product/line-up information & demos from Japan HQ.
    • Obtain customer/market information in the region of responsibility.
    • Map customers to the product roadmap of SSC Strategy and Japan HQ.
    • Introduce the latest technologies to relevant customers.
    • Arrange demos to individual/group customers (marketing event).
    • Identify the best strategy/business model for each customer/product.
    • Obtain/negotiate pricing with Japan HQ to win sales orders.
    • Negotiate pricing with Customers to maintain profitability as set forth.

    c) Sales and Marketing Report
    • Project sheet update / Sales Analysis Report / Sales Trips Report or any Adhoc report.
    • Help and Coordinate with Market research activities based on supervisor instructions
    • Provide marketing report on market/product/country specific whenever deemed necessary.

    d) Interface with Japan
    • Obtain new technologies and product roadmap from Japan
    • Arrangement of samples (new product) and demo from Japan.
    • Price negotiation with Japan if our buying price cannot meet customer request price or market pricing

    e) Interface with other sales office
    • Check product /market/sales information if the business is overlap with other overseas subsidiaries
    • Check & Obtain "Contract Price" for transfer business and Global accounts customers

    f) Other interfaces
    • Regular meetings and planning with the PSI group on delivery/demand input
    • Close communication within Sales & Marketing Dept. to ensure sales objective is met and sharing of marketing/customer information.
    • Keep communication with AR (Accounts) to ensure payment delivery is being met and review on customer financial status regularly
    • Close interface with Customer Service team to ensure delivery commitment to customer and pull-in activities to increase sales.
    • Interface with Technical Team to develop demo & jig/ support product information/ samples/ communication with Japan engineers.

    • Possess Diploma qualification in relevant areas of studies
    • 4-5 years of relevant Global/Regional account experience in the IT/Semiconductor(components) industry
    • Has some technical knowledge of Electronic components, Display/LCD will be a strong advantage
    • Experience in handling and managing global MNC accounts is required
    • Possess good communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to join immediately would be preferred

    8:30 ~ 17:30
