Main Duties and Key Responsibilities 1. Handle banquet sales enquiries within assigned area of responsibility including the following: . Prepare proposals/contracts and event orders for current and prospective clients. . Ensure all correspondences are replied within 24 hours. . Conduct site inspections effectively. . Maintains a clean database in the systems. . Plan and prepare appointments and reports for sales meetings and presentations. . Check availability of meeting venue and block the venue accordingly. . Respond to customers' needs effectively and in a timely manner. . Adhere to schedule of event delivery orders and the process of deliveries. 2. Coordinate all sales activities so as to build a healthy and profitable relationship with clients and associates. 3. Provide after-sales services and consolidate customer feedback and report to management. 4. Work closely with official caterers and operation team to ensure holistic service standard. 5. Possess good product knowledge, with ability to identify market trends while being fully aware of new products and competition status. 6. Research and identify sales opportunities, generate leads, and target potential clients through various communication channels. 7. Develop and foster business through pro-active direct sales, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls leading to directly measurable revenue. 8. Develop and improve relationships with key accounts to maintain a high level of service and client loyalty. 9. Comply with company's standard operating procedures and policies. 10. Deliver sales pitches and presentations to client and highlight the benefits of product and services. 11. Ability to quickly adapt to a constantly changing market. 12. Submit weekly report and planning schedule to management and HOD on your sales activities. 13. Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the HOD. Job Requirements and Qualifications 1. Minimum 2-year experience in Sales, additional Hotel/Club experience is an asset. Those without Sales experience and/or holds a diploma/degree in those field indicated in point 2 will be considered as Sales and Marketing Officer. 2. Candidate must possess Diploma/degree preferably in one of the following: Marketing, Food & Beverage Services, Event Management, Customer experience management with business, Hospitality/Hotel Management or equivalent. 3. Self-motivated, dynamic, result-oriented individual and a team player with strong business acumen. 4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong network. 5. Possess strong negotiation and presentation skills. 6. Strong ability to multi-task, results-oriented, independent, creative and resourceful.
