Job Duties
- To establish a new department and lead the team
- Responsible for business development for haulier (land transport in Singapore)
- Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client\'s business needs
- Develop intervention strategies to mitigate gaps in delivery of logistics services
- Develop relationships with potential customers and meeting sales targets
- Negotiate contract terms with clients
- Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Take part in RFQ And bid
- Develop and implement SOP and procedure of haulage process
- Acquire necessary permit and paperwork preparation for haulage operation
- Proven working experience as a business development, sales executive or a relevant role
- Possess market (Haulage) knowledge
