Position Summary
As a subject matter expert to pre-sales and pursuit activities, you will collaborate with Account Managers and Solution Sales focusing on all sales, new, cross-sells, up-sells, for a given territory with both existing and new customers. Sales Specialists will lead deals aligned to the Enterprise proposition and serve accounts within a defined territory. The role works in close partnership with internal partners to proactively drive gross sales and revenue.
Role Responsibilities
Structure, negotiate and close deals
Proactively identify pipeline opportunities for upsell and hunt for new logos
Develop the sales strategy for the Enterprise Data Solutions within the given territory
Provide insights and share LSEG thought leadership on the Enterprise Data proposition with customers
Qualifications and Experience Required
Deep market understanding including a) expert understanding of financial market b) knowledge of global cross-asset market c) strong understanding of customers\' business model workflow
Knowledge of the competition and awareness of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace
World class selling skills (identify, qualify, develop, & articulate proposition/ consultative selling) as a \xe2\x80\x9chunter\xe2\x80\x9d
Strong pipeline management and sales negotiation skills as a \xe2\x80\x98closer\xe2\x80\x99
Superior interpersonal, communication skills and presentation skills (verbal & written)
Ability to organize and execute sales plan in the given territory to drive revenue growth
Creative thinker and good sales ideation skills
Executive presence
Over 5 years of industry, sales or market experience
Experience selling to C- level executives
Proven track record in a quota-bearing sales environment
Advantage with Product and Workflow Expertise e.g. knowledge of financial modeling, Excel; knowledge of trading floor tech / data apps
