Your Career
You will play a critical role in driving the success of our market leading and high growth Cloud Security solutions by acting as the go-to Sales Specialist in Singapore. You will own Cloud Security targets for assigned territories and responsible for driving pipeline and booking outcomes, engaging directly and through account managers on end-user customer opportunities. This role works closely with Cloud Service Providers and Consulting Partners to deliver complete solutions to end users. The successful candidate will have the demonstrated ability to leverage the cloud partner ecosystem in order to help our sales teams succeed in the field. The Prisma Cloud Sales Specialist will report to the Senior District Sales Manager, Prisma Cloud whilst ensuring consistent communication and engagement across the wider sales organization. This role will require interaction, coordination and joint engagement with cross functional teams including Customer Success, Renewals, Business Development, Marketing, and Product Management. You will have the opportunity to present at Public Cloud events, Quarterly Business Reviews, executive meetings, trainings, and other events. Your Impact

  • Be the ‘Go-To’ resource in Singapore for our Cloud Security offerings
  • Lead key end-user sales opportunities in the field in conjunction with the field team
  • Track and report on all opportunities, pipeline and bookings and provide forecasts and funnel management reports for the region
  • Work closely with the Prisma Cloud Solutions Architect team on end-user Cloud opportunities
  • Facilitate co-selling opportunities, account mapping and other sales engagements between Palo Alto Network’s field sales and the Cloud Service Provider (CSP) sales teams
  • Support Palo Alto Network’s field sales organization on engagement management with the CSP.
  • Coordinate activities and have involvement with Public Cloud virtual teams including Business Development, Marketing, Product Management, Channels and Sales
  • Develop the annual regional strategic plan and performance goals for assigned CSP
  • Provide support and coordination for channel activity with assigned CSP and coordinate with the Palo Alto Network’s Cloud Channel and NextWave channel teams
  • Understand and articulate the CSP's strategic initiatives, and gain a deep understanding of their activities, roadmap and vision
  • Build and maintain relationships with key personnel in the CSP to solidify Palo Alto Network’s standing and awareness within the providers and to assist in the development of key relationships with the extended cloud team
  • Help provide insight in the support of Public Cloud events and attend/participate in the events
  • Provide support in the form of expertise and training for Palo Alto Network’s field sales enablement


Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, MBA preferred
  • 10 years of experience in Field Sales, Account Management, or Channel Sales at an enterprise B2B technology company
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep market experience in Singapore and demonstrated ability to work successfully across countries
  • Knowledge of public cloud infrastructure (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and cloud security trends
  • Existing relationships within one or all Public Cloud Providers (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Channel experience including selling with or managing channel partner
