We're rethinking homes for how people really live, and we're looking for a Retail Sales Specialist to join our Sydney Showroom team to help shape the future of living-one thoughtful detail at a time.
Retail at Castlery is where design, service, and experience meet - giving customers a space to explore, connect, and discover the perfect pieces for their homes.
What you'll be doing

• Engage customers in a friendly and approachable manner, creating a positive first impression of our brand.
• Listen actively to customers' preferences and requirements, providing recommendations and solutions.
• Responsible for the conversion of sales from walk-in customers
• Recommend design-focused solutions tailored to customers' requirements (style of home decor desired, floor plan, etc.).
• Build and nurture customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction are met.
• Assist in store operational excellence by ensuring general showroom maintenance, receiving / issuing stocks, and monthly high accuracy stock take.
• Perform other roles within the store such as maintaining visual standards, assisting team members, or performing operational tasks on the sales floor.

What you'll need

• Prior experience in retail sales, preferably in furniture, home decor, or related industries.
• Proven track record of customer centricity and possess strong people skills (approachable, good listener, and empathetic).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Commitment in giving and receiving feedback - you feel there is always more to learn and are open to feedback on your performance.
• Commitment to quality with exceptional attention to detail.
• Good work ethic
• Excellent team player.
• Stay relevant and updated with furniture and consumer trends, ready to apply your learning in customer interactions.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
