Job Responsibilities:
  • Qualifies customers\' requests for quotation to ensure that a quote will meet the customers\xe2\x80\x99 requirements.
  • Prepares customer quotations in a timely manner, technically accurate, and offers the best possible application solution.
  • Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Provides pre-sales and technical support to customers and distributors;
    • Determines customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions;
    • Reviews more complex project specifications and perform valve, material selection, and actuator sizing. Including submission of any comments and deviations;
    • Responds and provide information on product range, and prices and generate quotations in accordance with specifications/customer requirements;
    • Recommends alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications;
    • Communicates with internal manufacturing locations for queries on costing, lead time, special requirements, etc.
\xe2\x80\xa2 Ensures customers\' purchase orders are technically accurate as quoted and commercially verified before sending for order entry. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provides guidance to less experienced team members in pre-sales and technical support-related work. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provides technical support and attends technical clarifications meeting with sales. \xe2\x80\xa2 Supports department manager in driving continuous improvements by recommending opportunities for improvement in work processes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Leads in special projects as assigned. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensures compliance with workplace safety rules, including but not limited to the usage of personal protective equipment, if provided to you, while working; not involve in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger peers or oneself; reporting unsafe work conditions and providing suggestions to improve safety/ health at work, as needed. Job Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation & Control Engineering or equivalent. \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Flow Control and/or Instrumentation Industry. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability and willingness to multi-task and manage priorities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Matured and independent with good judgment and a sense of urgency on priorities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent follow-up and analytical skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work in a fast pace environment, multi-task, and manage priorities
