The Sales Support Executive will primarily support Food & Hotel Asia Sales team, which could be selling multiple events/products across regions. This role is focused on supporting sales function of contracting of space from exhibitors. The right candidate will be customer focus, with good administrative skills, and be detail oriented.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on sales enquiries and maintaining of sales database
  • Support Sales team in generation of new business leads, service maintenance and developing existing or new customers, cold calling, and market research
  • Establish connections with target customers, assess and qualify for sales development
  • Support Sales Team in maintaining regular communications with sales agents to monitor customer pipeline, tracking against revenue targets, payment collection, confirming status of re-bookings and escalation of issues
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer information and updates within Salesforce (CRM system)
  • Updating of floorplan
  • On-site event coordination and customer support
  • Preparation of reports, quotations, and proposals
  • Maintenance of the filing system
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Business administration, or related field
  • 1 year of sales support experience preferrable
  • Experience in managing relationships with international customers across various regions and cultures
  • Strong organisation, time management skills and ability to work with senior internal stakeholders
  • Ability to proactively handle and respond to customer
  • Interpersonal skills, confident personality, high level of enthusiasm
  • Able to work as part of a wider team but also independently
  • Interest in sales and events
Additional Information
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM highly desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, especially MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Good research skills - online and offline
