Description

SAP B2B Commerce Application Engineer is key position within our B2B E-commerce application space. We are looking for a person with a background in building innovative customer-facing web applications, in an enterprise environment.



The successful candidate will work closely across regions collaborating with business and technical teams delivering complex projects in Apple's fast-paced environment in different time zones. The role includes responsibility for all aspects of the project including:



Partner with business to drive B2B e-Commerce experiences between Apple and Business Customers worldwide and identify opportunities and execute initiatives that drives success on the B2B Commerce Platform. Be a member of the team that implements new applications on the cloud, improve existing application features, while adding performance and software quality metrics. Design and develop cloud-based, enterprise level and highly available web applications. Develop prototypes and conduct POCs to demonstrate new ideas or illustrate the new features in B2B Commerce platform. Ability to navigate ambiguity to define a workable model and design that meets both system and business requirements while drive scalable designs and enforce strict adherence to global design principals, security, encryption and compliance standards, as well as documentation standards. Collaborating on project plans, deliverables, dependencies and risks. Ensure adequate testing in all test cycles including Unit Test, Integration Test across multiple systems (internal and external), User Acceptance Test, Performance Test and Regression Test for smooth production go-live. Co-ordinating cutover and implementation activities across business and technical teams. Identify opportunities for process optimization, recommend enhancements and new features, gather feedback from business users

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in integrating with SAP modules like SAP ECC, S/4 HANA and CRM

Experience in cloud-based, micro-service architecture, enterprise level web applications with high availability and heavy traffic.

Experience with automated testing methodologies and frameworks.

Hands on experience with Gen AI models and prompt engineering

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from accredited university in Computer Science/Information Technology with Retail and Sales Domain experience.

5+ years of proven experience in implementing and enhancing e-Commerce application for a global, multi-national corporation involving multi-currency and multi-language.

Must have experience as a Functional analyst for B2B eCommerce applications.

At least 2 years of proven experience in system design, configurations and customizations of any SAP system full life cycle implementation for multi-national corporations is required.

Experience in multiple project methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, SCRUM, etc.

Excellent knowledge of SAP B2B Commerce functionalities including product modeling, product assortment, user management, customer management, catalog management, content management, shopping cart and checkout, product search, return management, payments and workflow management.

Strong business acumen around end-to-end OTC cycle including eCommerce platform, sales fulfillment, electronic payment processing, invoicing and settlement.

Experience in handling localization and translation

Proven ability to work with and drive workshops/solutions in collaboration with stakeholders, communicating effectively both verbally and written.

Demonstrates creativity, innovation and proactive approach to challenge conventional norms
