Job Description




We are seeking a skilled SAP Solution Manager Administrator to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our SAP Solution Manager environment. As a SAP Solution Manager Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the configuration, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of our SAP Solution Manager platform.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP Solution Manager components and related tools.
  • Monitor the performance and availability of SAP Solution Manager, addressing any issues or outages promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that align with business needs.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and updates in a timely manner to ensure system stability and security.
  • Develop and implement best practices for system administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Configure and maintain system monitoring and alerting to ensure proactive identification and resolution of potential issues.
  • Collaborate with SAP Basis team to ensure seamless integration between SAP Solution Manager and other SAP applications.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of SAP Solution Manager functionalities, including ChaRM, ITSM, and Test Suite.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and assist with resolving functional and technical issues.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to system configuration, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP Solution Manager trends, features, and technologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Min 6 years proven experience as a SAP Solution Manager Administrator, including expertise in system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Solution Manager functionalities such as Change Request Management (ChaRM), Incident Management, and Test Suite.
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager 7.x and above, including the latest versions and features.
  • Proficiency in SAP administration and BASIS tasks.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices and their application in SAP Solution Manager.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • SAP Solution Manager certification(s) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
