SAP FICO Techno-Functional Consultant





We are seeking a seasoned SAP FICO professional with deep expertise in Finance & Controlling and strong techno-functional skills in ABAP debugging, interface management, and cross-module integration. This role blends business-facing analysis with hands-on technical problem solving, supporting global projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities


Lead SAP Finance change requests and enhancements: requirements, configuration, functional specs, ABAP debugging, testing, and deployment. Participate in S/4HANA Cloud implementation projects and regional rollouts (e.g., Australia, Qatar), ensuring seamless FICO integration with SD, MM, Service Orders, and 3rd-party systems. Provide techno-functional support for end-users: troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis via ABAP debugging, and validate custom developments (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, interfaces). Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and SAP best practices. Collaborate with Finance, IT, and vendors to optimize end-to-end business processes and deliver scalable solutions.
Requirements


Proven track record in at least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA Cloud implementations plus multiple Finance rollouts. Strong hands-on expertise in SAP ECC & S/4HANA FICO (GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting, Cost & Profit Center Accounting). Techno-functional skills: ABAP debugging, writing/reviewing functional specs, interface monitoring (IDoc, PI/PO, Web Services), and FICO authorization role maintenance (PFCG). Exposure to Project Systems, Margin Analysis, Embedded Analytics is an advantage. Bachelor's Degree in IT, Finance, or related field; strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills. * Willingness to travel regionally as required.
