Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced

SAP MDM (Master Data Management) Lead

to oversee end-to-end master data strategy, governance, and migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in

SAP MDG, migration projects, data governance, and master data domains (material, customer, vendor)

. The role requires leadership in defining MDM best practices, implementing data governance policies, and driving efficiency through reporting, tools, and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the

design, implementation, and management of SAP Master Data Management

solutions. Oversee

data migration activities

across Material Master, Customer Master, and Vendor Master domains. Define and enforce

data governance policies, standards, and procedures

to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance. Implement and support

SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)

solutions, ensuring alignment with business processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business, IT, Operations, Compliance) to define data models, workflows, and approval processes. Monitor and measure master data quality through

dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools

. Drive adoption of MDM best practices and provide guidance on tools, frameworks, and methodologies. Lead and mentor the MDM team, ensuring delivery of business outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with stakeholders to assess data requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects. Support audits and compliance requirements related to master data policies.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience

in SAP Master Data Management and Governance. Strong hands-on expertise in

SAP MDG

and

SAP MDM

. Proven experience in

data migration projects

involving Material Master, Customer Master, and Vendor Master. Solid knowledge of

data governance frameworks, policies, and compliance standards

. Experience with

reporting tools, dashboards, and MDM monitoring mechanisms

. Excellent understanding of

SAP integration

with other modules (MM, SD, FI, etc.). Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills. Experience working in

global delivery environments

with cross-functional and multicultural teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with

data quality tools

(e.g., SAP Information Steward, Data Services). Exposure to

cloud-based MDM solutions

. Knowledge of

AI/ML in data quality and data governance automation

. Previous experience in

leading MDM transformation programs

in large enterprises.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $6,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
