Job Title ; SAP MM Consultant / SAP Materials Management Specialist

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to implement, configure, and support SAP Materials Management (MM) module. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, procurement, inventory, and finance teams to ensure SAP MM solutions meet business requirements, support procurement and inventory processes, and integrate effectively with other SAP modules like FI, SD, WM, and S/4HANA enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and analyze business requirements for procurement, inventory, and materials management processes. Configure SAP MM module, including Purchasing (PO, PR, Vendor Management), Inventory Management, Valuation & Account Determination, Material Master Data, and other related components. Ensure integration with other SAP modules: FI, SD, WM, PP. Perform gap analysis and propose solutions aligned with SAP best practices. Assist in data migration: extract, transform, and load (ETL) master data, transactional data, and ensure data quality and integrity. Develop functional specifications for custom development when standard SAP functionality does not meet business needs. Support testing: prepare test scripts, execute unit tests, integration testing, and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Provide post-implementation support: troubleshoot issues, implement SAP notes, and optimize system performance. Prepare functional documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Finance, Operations, IT) to ensure smooth project delivery. Conduct workshops and training sessions for end users. Stay up-to-date with SAP MM updates, S/4HANA developments, and best practices in procurement and inventory management.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.

3-7 years

of SAP MM consulting experience (junior: 2-4 years; senior: 7+ years). Strong expertise in SAP MM module: Purchasing, Inventory Management, Valuation, Material Master, Vendor Master, Invoice Verification. Experience in S/4HANA MM migration or implementation is highly desirable. Knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and warehouse processes. Hands-on experience with SAP configuration, functional testing, and data migration. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in Agile / Waterfall environments.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have

SAP MM certification (C_TSCM52_67 or equivalent). Experience with SAP MM integration with FI, SD, WM, or PP modules. Exposure to Singapore statutory / regulatory requirements related to procurement and inventory (if applicable). Experience with SAP Fiori apps, SAP Analytics, or reporting tools. Knowledge of SAP project methodology (SAP Activate, ASAP). Experience in automation / testing of SAP MM processes.

Pay: $1,688.72 - $8,315.79 per month
