Role SAP Practice Lead - ManufacturingLocation USA East CoastRoles and Responsibilities:
Carry growth targets for SAP business in the Manufacturing Vertical Process/Discreet for NA
Put and drive growth strategy for mid-term to long-term goals
Work with the sales team in generating and realizing the pipeline
Work closely with regional SAP organization for effective alliance connect and revenue growth
Get involved/Lead to assess customer problems and opportunities
Generating business with existing and new customers to meet sales targets
Proactive / reactive customer visits and pipeline generation
Contribute to RFP by providing customer insights, win theme, industry flavor in the RFP response, driving the
Participate in RFP discovery session, RFP response defense, SOW preparation and contract negotiation at the customer site in US
Support in resource ramp-ups
Contribute towards asset and proof of concept (POC) building by sharing industry trends and customer requirements
Contribute to practice info for revenue MIS (win/loss analysis, rev projections), Go-Live info and case studies etc.
SAP business forecasting for defined portfolio in NA
Plan and co-ordinate SAP sessions/webinars for sales team enablement and to proliferate SAP offerings
Manage relationship with SAP NA, Partner ecosystem and Analyst community
Reporting this role will report to the SAP Head for NA
Qualification/Experience
Bachelor s degree is a must
18+ years of overall experience
Minimum 15 years of SAP experience and 3 years of Industry domain experience in Manufacturing Industrial, Discreet, Process/Chemicals
Minimum 5 years of experience in NA market (preferably in the above role)
Should have minimum 2 end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA implementation/upgrade experience including SAP Cloud and experience with Hyperscalers
Good knowledge on new age technologies like SAP BTP, Sustainability, TMS, EWM, LBN etc
Candidate should be able to demonstrate existing strong customer / partner network in NA
Candidate must have strong experience in customer management, business generation, revenue growth and RFP lifecycle management
Candidate must have managed a portfolio of $ 15M +
Exposure and good understanding digital offerings and cloud portfolio of SAP
Cross application and integration knowledge
Should have experience working in onsite/offshore model and high collaboration index
Relevant SAP certifications in new age technologies preferred
Proven ability to align with business stakeholders, understands business requirements and execute gap fit analysis with SAP.
