Job Responsibilities . Design and preplanning of the scaffold including weight limitations, scaffold type, fall protection, tie-offs, supports, etc . Overseeing the erection of the scaffold . Final inspection of the scaffold prior to initial occupation for use . At a minimum, daily inspection and documentation of the condition of the scaffold and its ability to be occupied safely . Inspections of scaffolds after changes/alterations have been made . Oversight and inspections of mobile scaffolds . Training of other competent persons, scaffold erectors, and users . Planning and supervising the scaffolding works . To lead a team of workers and ensure that work is done in accordance to schedule . Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes, minimize environmental impact associated with the construction activities . Implement necessary control measures to mitigate the unsafe work and to prevent recurrence Job Requirements . 2 or more years' field experience . Candidate must possess Supervision of Metal Scaffold Erection Certificate and Building Construction Safety Supervisors (BCSS) / Supervise Construction Work in Workplace Safety and Health Certificate . Knowledgeable in Microsoft words and excel . Ability to work with multiple discipline projects . Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills . Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices .
