- School Gardener
Profile: School Gardener
Contract Period: 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026
Working Hours
The personnel shall be deployed at the following hours:
Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 11:30am
No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays
Scope of Services
The Services required are as follows:
Garden Maintenance
Perform general maintenance of selected garden plots within Sembawang Primary School.
Carry out routine horticultural tasks including soil cultivation, fertilising, digging, mulching, watering, raking, weeding, edging, pruning, grass cutting, and bed preparation.
Apply chemicals safely and appropriately, as required for garden maintenance.
Undertake planting and harvesting activities as part of garden upkeep.
Tools & Equipment Management
Maintain gardening tools, equipment, and supplies stored in the gardening sheds.
Ensure tools are kept in good working condition and properly organised.
Other Duties
Perform any other gardening-related tasks as assigned by the school.
Qualifications and Skills
The personnel shall minimally possess the following:
At least three (3) years of gardening experience, preferably within a school environment.
Proficiency in transplanting, growing, and maintaining a wide variety of plants such as ferns, herbaceous plants, and small trees.
Responsible, reliable, and able to work collaboratively and effectively with school staff.
