Set up workstations before classes; clean and sanitise kitchen equipment and surfaces; organise and stock ingredients and supplies
Assist students with basic food preparation techniques; help monitor food safety and hygiene practices; provide support to the teacher(s) as needed
Maintain kitchen appliances and tools; report any equipment malfunctions or needs for repair; assist in inventory management of kitchen equipment
Properly store ingredients and leftovers; monitor expiration dates and food quality; assist in rotating stock to minimise waste
Properly dispose of food waste and manage recycling and composting efforts
Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a classroom kitchen
Able to multitask effectively, with a willingness to learn and maintain a positive, motivated attitude
Able to work independently and as a team.
