What the role is:
School of Engineering - Associate Lecturer (Electrical & Electronic Engineering)
What you will be working on:
- To facilitate students' learning in pre-employment training (PET) and continuing education training (CET), and perform grading and assessment in the following areas:
Microcontroller
Electronic circuit design and testing
Programming in C/C++ or Python
- To commit at least two days per week to conduct lessons
- To perform invigilation duties, as assigned
- To contribute towards curriculum development, and provide any inputs and feedback to enhance the module content
- To participate in lesson briefings, review sessions and academic meetings.
- Qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related discipline
- A minimum of three years of industry experience in one or more of the following areas:
Microcontroller/microprocessor programming and applications
Electronic circuit design and testing environment
Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++ and Python
- Possession of professional certificates in the above areas will be an added advantage
- A genuine interest and passion for sharing knowledge, engaging, and inspiring youths
- A strong sense of initiative, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
