What the role is:School of Engineering - Lecturer (Engineering Design with Business) - ElectronicsWhat you will be working on:
- Facilitate student learning, develop curriculum and participate in development projects in design thinking, user experience, circuit and industrial design, hardware interfacing and prototyping development, computer programming.
- Selected candidates are also expected to take part in R&D/Implementation projects and provide consultancy services to the industry.
- Duties also include mentoring students, supervising student final year projects, soliciting and supervising student internship and reaching out to various stakeholders such as secondary school students, teachers, parents and universities.
- Qualification in Electrical / Electronic Engineering/ Mechatronics
- Relevant working experience in electronics, mechatronics, software programming or Internet of Things (IoT)
- Experience in one of the following technical domain areas: Electronics, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Robotics, Augmented Reality/ Virtual Reality (AR/VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), or Internet of Things (IoT), 3D Printing
- Preferably equip with knowledge and programming skills such as C/C++, Python, Arduino
- Genuine interest and passion to share knowledge and interact with youths
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
