What the role is:
You will develop curriculum and deliver training programmes based on current industry practices as well as assess students' performance as individuals and as part of a team. You are also expected to provide support to students through coaching and mentoring. In addition, you will be required to participate in research, industry projects, and diploma related events and activities.
What you will be working on:
You will develop, review and deliver pre-employment training and continuing education curriculum related to one or more of the expertise listed below:
Food Science and Technology
Food and Beverage Management
Food Sustainability and Food Waste Management
F&B Technology (Restaurant Digitalisation, Data Management and Analytics)
Social Media Management and Marketing in Food Services
Customer Journey Mapping and Customer Experience
Restaurant Development or Entrepreneurship
Other supporting duties include general administration and procurement. Lecturers will also be required to develop and deliver training for adult learners in the continuing education space, which may take place after working hours.
