Job Description


Scope of Services:

1. helping attend to pupils in the sick bay. Escorting sick pupils from the classroom to the sick bay when required.

2. performing receptionist duties in the general office - answer incoming phone calls and respond to queries over the phone in a friendly and polite manner

3. assisting and attending to pupils or walk-in customers (eg. parents, school guests) in the general office

4. doing packing of deliveries of items such as stationery/books/papers etc for distribution to pupils/staff

5. arranging for refreshments/catering for school events and assist to keep staff pantries well-stocked

6. Updating of sick bay records and other administrative records

7. Any other duties as assigned by the schools leadership

8. The working hours are not negotiable

Qualification, Skill & Experience:

  • At least an O level qualification
  • At least 3 years working experience performing receptionist duties
  • As there can be packing and lifting of heavy boxes and bulky items involved, candidates will need to be physically fit for the job
  • Candidates who have prior experience working in a school setting will have an advantage
  • Selected candidate will be required to take a first aid course in the event that he/she is not first-aid trained.
Salary: $2000 - $2200

Location: Toa Payoh

Contract Period: 1 Jan 2024 to 31 Dec 2024

Working Schedule: Mondays to Fridays 8.30am to 5.30am

Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
