Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2024 to 31 Oct 2024.
- Mondays 2:30pm to 5:30pm
- Wednesdays 2:30pm to 5:30pm
- Thursdays 2:30pm to 5:30pm
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, School Holidays, gazetted public holidays and End of Year examination period
Pastoral Care Officer
\xc2\xb7 Operate and manage the afterschool drop in centre
\xc2\xb7 Provide monthly attendance for drop-ins
\xc2\xb7 Engage in conversations with student drop-ins to build rapport and provide mentorship
\xc2\xb7 Identify students with presenting issues and make referral/s to student development team or school counsellor for interventions when necessary.
\xc2\xb7 Initiate programmes or activities to build rapport and connectedness to school.
\xc2\xb7 Provide support to organised ad-hoc programmes or activities that aims to engage students at the afterschool drop in centre
Qualifications, skills and experience:
a) GCE O Level/ N Level
b) Relevant qualifications in counselling or mentoring
c) Excellent team-player who is organized, meticulous and with the ability to multi-task.
d) Some IT knowledge and MS office skills e.g MS Words and good communication skills.
