Job Scope:

Manage After School Engagement Centre (YEAHUB) * To conduct a tailored SEL programme comprising of a weekly 1 hour 10 min experiential learning session for identified Sec 1 (projected 36 pax) students.

• To conduct a tailored SEL programme comprising of a weekly 1 hr 10 min experiential learning session for identified Sec 2 (projected 31 pax) students.
• Plan and oversee the implementation of the following:

• Run and manage the school\xe2\x80\x99s Drop in Centre (YEAHub) on two mornings- Monday and Wednesday for 6.5hr each.
• Engage students who visit the YEAHub to play the boardgames and/or video games.
• To surface at-risk students for support and intervention.
• To conduct a tailored SEL programme comprising of a weekly 1 hour 10 min experiential learning session for identified Sec 1 (projected 36 pax) students.
• The sessions should be part of a thematic programme to engage students in learning new skills, work as a team and develop values and traits such as respect, confidence, resilience and leadership.
• A learning journey for the students is to be conducted at the end of each semester.
• Regular reviews to be conducted to improvise the programme when necessary.

Requirements:

• Able to provide mentorship and guidance to engage and encourage students
• Able to conduct program via e-platforms
• Registered with the Ministry of Education (MOE)
• Diploma in related fields to the specifications and relevant training in fields related to social and emotional learning
• Competent to handle the tasks and responsibilities assigned and preferably have at least 2 years experience in conducting relevant programme
• Candidates may be requested to give a lesson to demonstrate competency in engaging the participants

Duration: 8 January 2024 to 25 September 2024

Working Arrangement:

\xc2\xb7 Drop- In Centre: Monday & Wednesday \xe2\x80\x93 8am - 2.30pm

\xc2\xb7 Tailored SEL Programme: Monday & Wednesday \xe2\x80\x93 1hr each (Time TBC)
