Job Description

Job Scope:

• To provide social and emotional support to identified students through daily interaction via mentoring and counselling
• To support the holistic development of identified students by connecting with them through building of positive relationships
• To support the Key Personnel (KP) in the planning and conducting of intervention and engagement activities in building a sense of belonging to the school and developing character in the identified students through positive discipline
• To provide feedback on activities and the identified students throughobservation and experience, raise concerns on any issues, and highlight theneeds of the identified students to the KP for further intervention orsupport. To provide written reports on these matters.
• To manage all related administrative duties and relevant data
• To support the KP in external engagement of the identified students namely out of school activities and house visits
• To support the School Personnel (SP) in all activities and groups under UPLIFT and ESP

Requirements:

• Minimally a Diploma in Social Work or working with youth related courses.
• To be competent to handle the tasks and responsibilities assigned by the school
• Preferably 1 year of experience in working with youths or in counselling work/social services.
• Interested applicants are to present portfolio of past work engagement with youths for the school's consideration.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday (during term time): between 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Selected days only (during term breaks and school holidays)
