To prepare apparatus and materials for experiments.
To assist teachers in the carrying out of experiments.
Handle Science equipment
To be able to use equipment (e.g., microscope, dataloggers and equivalent) related to Science experiments and programmes.
Administrative work
To assist in any administrative work assigned.
Maintaining the Science labs
To maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of Science labs.
To adhere to the safety rules and regulations.
Maintaining the Science Garden and Urban Farm
To assist in the growing of plants (e.g., watering, mixing of nutrients, harvesting, etc.) and monitoring their growth.
To monitor the running of hydroponics and soil compost systems and carry out basic maintenance (topping up of water/nutrients and covering the openings to prevent mosquito breeding).
Working Arrangement:
Location: Marine Parade
Working Hours:
Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 5 pm, inclusive of one hour lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Salary: $1700-$1800/Month
Contract Duration: 01 Jan 2024 to 31 Dec 2024

GCE\xe2\x80\x98O\xe2\x80\x99 Level
Able to commence work on 02 Jan 2024
Good communication and inter-personal skills
Good team player with a high level of initiative
Knowledge of Primary Science curriculum
Candidates with relevant experience as Science Lab assistant in schools will be preferred
