Lab Support Services

\xef\x82\xb7 Set up materials and equipment for day to day experiments and

for practical exams.

\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure all practicals that take place in the labs run smoothly.

Assist teachers to trouble-shoot where possible. Check on

practicals once in a while when lessons are ongoing.

\xef\x82\xb7 Conduct safety review of labs under her charge once every 6

months and suggest recommendations to HOD to improve lab

safety.

Lab Maintenance

\xef\x82\xb7 Monitoring schedule of teachers coming in and out of the science

rooms.

\xef\x82\xb7 Assist in procurement of science equipment & instrument.

\xef\x82\xb7 Maintain science equipment and apparatus in the lab.

\xef\x82\xb7 Maintain inventory record of science lab equipment.

\xef\x82\xb7 Assist science teachers in lesson preparation (when necessary).

\xef\x82\xb7 Assist in the maintenance of the science lab, eco pond, sky

garden and terrarium.

\xef\x82\xb7 Assist in the maintenance of living organisms in the lab (e.g. stick

insects, hamsters, fish etc)

\xef\x82\xb7 Support Science Department, to share experiences with HOD

and teachers in the planning practical schedule and experiments

requirement to enhance students\' experience.

\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure the labs are ready for guest visits and meetings.

Other Duties

\xef\x82\xb7 Any other duties assigned by Principal, Vice-Principal and

HOD/Science deemed necessary.

\xef\x82\xb7 Assist teachers in running Science club activities and/or

competition training.

Salary Range

$1,400 - $1,700
