The successful candidate will have a strong background in R&D mangement experience in in vitro and in vivo animal research.Responsibility:**Leadership & Team Management:**
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members, setting performance goals and promoting professional growth.
- Recognize and reward employee contributions, and organize activities to ensure high engagement and teamwork.
- Supervise scientists, guiding project execution, troubleshooting, and client communication.**Operational Oversight:**
- Oversee scientific operations across multiple departments, aligning with company goals and regulatory standards.
- Manage day-to-day operations, optimizing resource allocation, productivity, and quality control.
- Enhance team efficiency and performance through strategic management.**Project & Financial Management:**
- Manage scientific projects, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
- Oversee department budgeting and financial performance, focusing on achieving revenue and profit targets.**Research & Development:**
- Lead preclinical drug development, identify technological advancements, and expand the scientific portfolio.
- Participate in scientific writing and oversee in vitro and in vivo studies, ensuring compliance with regulations.**Collaboration & Client Interaction:**
- Collaborate with scientific and commercial teams to support overall objectives.
- Engage with clients directly through interactions and presentations to maintain strong relationships and satisfaction.
- Drive external and internal research collaborations to advance capabilities and technology.**Quality & Compliance:**
- Maintain high standards for scientific outputs and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, especially related to animal testing.**Change Management:**
- Implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and foster innovation.
- Develop leaders within the team to adapt to changes and enhance performance.**Qualifications:**
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in a relevant field such as pharmacology, biology, or medicine.
- Extensive experience in research, including in vitro assays and in vivo animal work.
- Proven leadership in a CRO or pharmaceutical R&D environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage scientific teams, drive operational success, and contribute to scientific advancements.
- Experience with rodent models and relevant regulatory permits preferred.**Skills:**
- Expertise in small animal models, particularly in cancer research and immuno-oncology.
- Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
