As a Material Scientist at Halliburton you will assist in the selection, processing, and application of ferrous and non-ferrous metallic materials, welding materials, processes, and designs for assigned projects. Use your working knowledge of metallic materials and processes to forge, cast, and weld fabricated parts and other components, and assist in handling metals or welding related field and manufacturing problems. An undergraduate degree in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Materials Science or similar discipline is required. Must also have 2 years of related experience. A Masters degree or PH.D in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Welding Experience, Materials Science, and certification as a licensed professional is preferred.
