Conduct advanced research using stem cell-derived retinal models to investigate mechanisms of ocular disease.
Design, execute, and analyze complex experiments, working closely with collaborators including molecular biologists, clinicians, and bioinformaticians.
Apply creativity and technical expertise to overcome research hurdles and generate novel insights.
Prepare high-quality reports, manuscripts, and presentations to communicate findings to both internal teams and the wider scientific community.
Maintain meticulous records of experiments, methodologies, and analyses in line with best practices, ethical standards, and compliance requirements.
Job Requirements
PhD in Biological Sciences, preferably with specialization in Ophthalmology, Stem Cell Biology, or related fields.
Strong interest in stem cell biology, ocular research, and regenerative medicine.
Demonstrated ability to independently design, conduct, and interpret experiments.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and deliver results on time.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with experience in handling complex datasets.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary research environment.
