As part of the Technology Project & Platform Delivery team, we are looking for a Scrum Master role who will act as a servant leader for designated Agile teams. Your ability to coach and mentor teams towards strong understanding of Agile values, principles and practices are critical. You will be working with teams with the goal of leading them to become self-organising and high performing, with the ability to deliver consistent, high quality solutions in a sustainable pace. The position will require you to facilitate Agile ceremonies, support Product Owners to manage the backlog, and coordinate your teams\' sprint deliverables. In this role, you are expected to help your teams remove blockers that impede their work progress.
You will be working with Technology and Business, particularly in Consumer Banking digital channels, stakeholders and are expected to provide updates as and when required.
Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor teams on Agile values and principles and our new way of working
  • Work with team to ensure deliverables are of consistently high quality
  • Become an advocate for continuous improvement throughout the organisations
  • Working first-hand to coach the team to become self-organising, high performance delivery teams.
  • Help teams to remove blockers/impediments
  • Facilitate productive Scrum events including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives
  • Develop creative ideas to support the team in keeping the scrum events positive and energised.
  • Ability to investigate, challenge and proactively suggest improvements to the ways of working.
  • Work hand in hand to support and challenge Product Owners to maximise value for the team supporting the delivery of the Product Backlog and Product Roadmap.
  • Assist Product Owners to minimise Sprint interruptions so as to protect the team, and enable them to focus on the Sprint goals and commitments
  • Foster a safe and trusting team environment
  • Willingness to work across teams and collaborate with other Scrum Masters as and when required
  • Work with the Agile community to improve and support the scaling of Agility within the bank
  • Serves as the point of contact for external teams, management, and other stakeholders
  • Help build a productive environment where team members take ownership of their work and enjoy working together as a cohesive unit
Qualifications
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience as a Scrum Master role
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Agile values and principles
  • In-depth expertise in digital channels with good knowledge in integrating with partners using APIs and other technologies
  • Good knowledge in end to end business process in Consumer Banking\'s Customer onboarding, Payments, Customer Relationship management (CRM) Wealth products such as Unit Trust, Bonds and Structure Investment.

Preferred Experience
  • Finance knowledge and experience working in the financial industry will be an advantage
  • Scrum Master certification from established Agile institution(such as Scrum Alliance, Scrum.Org, etc)
  • Practical working experience in systems development & integration environments (mixed technology) is preferable
