Job Description

The Scrum Master will be responsible for ensuring the effective functioning of a software development team by applying Agile methodologies and practices. This role involves coaching and mentoring team members, facilitating key Agile ceremonies, and driving continuous improvement to enhance delivery efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver, a strong communicator, and an advocate for Agile principle

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate and support all Scrum and Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.




Coach and mentor the Scrum Team to ensure understanding and effective implementation of Agile practices.




Remove impediments and barriers to the team's progress, ensuring smooth sprint execution.




Foster a collaborative and transparent team environment that promotes open communication and continuous improvement.




Utilize metrics and KPIs to track team performance, velocity, and delivery progress, and identify areas for improvement.




Lead by example in adopting and promoting Agile principles and best practices across the team and organization.




Encourage team accountability and ownership of deliverables and responsibilities.




Facilitate conflict resolution and maintain a positive, supportive team culture.




Participate actively in discussions, providing solutions to work-related and process improvement challenges.




Serve as a subject matter expert, guiding the team in Object-Oriented Application Design & Development, Test Execution and Management, and Application Design & Build Enablement.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.




Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in software development projects.




Advanced proficiency in Object-Oriented Application Design & Development.




Working knowledge or proficiency in Test Execution and Management and Application Design & Build Enablement.




Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).




Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.




Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance within the team.

Good to Have:

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.




Experience with Agile transformation or scaling Agile in enterprise environments.




Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD processes.
