Confidential Search: Finance Director, Southeast Asia
A global FMCG company is hiring a high-calibre Finance Director to lead its Southeast Asia business. This is a critical leadership role within the Asia structure, reporting directly to the regional MD and functionally to the Asia CFO.
The mandate: drive financial performance, elevate decision-making, and strengthen governance. As the most senior finance leader in-market, you will own the full finance agenda across FP&A, compliance, and business partnering, while shaping commercial outcomes and supporting operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead SEA financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles
• Partner with the GM and commercial leads on strategic priorities, pricing, and resource allocation
• Oversee statutory compliance, financial controls, and risk governance across three markets
• Align SEA finance initiatives with Asia and global stakeholders
• Deliver insights on margin improvement, cost efficiency, and P&L optimisation
• Support regional systems upgrades, process transformation, and business model innovation

Key Requirements

• 10-15+ years' finance experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles within FMCG industries (must -have)
• Strong foundation in FP&A, commercial finance, and cross-functional business partnering
• Proven ability to lead across borders and operate in complex matrix environments
• Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and delivering measurable business impact
• Strategic mindset, operational discipline, and strong leadership presence
