Established in 1972, Dover Court International School in Singapore is a leading inclusive international school with British heritage, serving international families, set on a green 12-acre site about 20 minutes from the Singapore CBD. We also offer courses that focus on English, mathematics, life skills and employability through ASDAN programmes.All students are involved in a wide range of co-curricular activities, mainly run by teaching staff. We offer a contextualised English National Curriculum up to Year 8, Edexcel GCSE PE from Years 9 -11 and IB Diploma Sports Exercise and Health Science (SEHS). SEHS is a popular option. Excellence in teaching and learning and a commitment to contributing to our thriving sports provision are crucial aspects of this role. We are members of FOBISIA and ACSIS with high levels of participation and interest in school sports teams. Our Sports facilities include two Sports Halls, new floodlit 3G pitch, multipurpose outdoor courts, pool and dance studio.The successful candidate will be passionate about driving high quality teaching and learning in an inclusive school and committed to making a difference to the lives of the young people in their care. They will be a reflective practitioner and an effective collaborator, relentless in the pursuit of 'better' practice. Tracking, Assessment, Recording, Reporting

• Monitor and record student learning to ensure ongoing progress, setting challenging targets;
• Accurately report on progress to students, parents and colleagues, meeting deadlines to support school processes;

Student Care and Guidance

• Establish a safe, purposely learning environment for all students;

• Qualified to degree level or above.
• Qualified Teacher Status.

Experience

• Proven track record with at least two years' teaching experience.
• Experience of being part of a highly successful department and school.
• Demonstrated evidence of innovating and adapting curricula to engage children and

enable them to perform highly. * Experience of teaching the IB Diploma Programme or equivalent.

• Experience of the National Curriculum for England and (I)GCSE.
• Working in partnership with parents.
