This will include developing the lab operations processes, achieving assets uptime goals and delivering accurate testing results on time. Work with various teams to ensure timely completion of testing. Interface and liaise with Certification Bodies ensuring product certification. Be the source of competency in areas of product testing standards so as to advise fellow team members. Develop and research into testing regimes for product reliability. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Review test data of testing regimes. Providing timely engineering reporting to internal customers. Develop effective maintenance schedule of lab's assets and managing of lab's expenses. Manage testing activities and able to perform project management work effectively. Ensure closure of activities and actions required by Certification bodies and or customers. Participate in project meetings serving as product test advisor. Participate in product failure investigation and resolutions. Analyze testing data and provide insights to products performance trends and other analytics. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Bachelor/ Masters / PhD of Science/Engineering degree Experience in reliability testing work and research. Well verse in failure analysis skills with hands on experience in lab tools. Statistical tools and methodologies. Knowledgeable on standards and its developments for both products and components. Translating that to actions for keeping abreast with industry developments Ability to write professional technical reports (as expected from an independent laboratory setup). Willing for occasional travel/ business trips. ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS: Knowledge of electronic product certification processes and standards. Published technical papers or prior involvement in Standards development. Prior work in a certification / independent lab or engineering firm.
