Job Description

What the role is:
This is a first-line supervisory position responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of a team providing Finance Shared Services to agencies, including resource planning, scheduling of work, management of service performance targets, process improvement, stakeholder management, issues resolution with external partners (policy/system owners), service partners and internal stakeholders and staff management.
What you will be working on:

• Lead a team of approximately 10 finance officers in the various finance operations (i.e. Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger and Banking), ensuring accuracy, compliance with policies and guidelines, and adherence to internal controls. o Monitor and track service performance metrics against established KPIs through regular review. o Lead and evaluate process reviews and improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness across Whole-of-Government (WOG) services. o Engage Service Partners and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. policy and system owners) to maintain and enhance relationships, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. o Plan and manage manpower resources effectively, including the enhancing of work performance, training, well-being and career development of your team.

What we are looking for:

• Candidates with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in accountancy or finance role will be preferred o Strong analytical skills o Meticulous and has an eye for the details o Able to work under pressure and manage ambiguity o Strong interpersonal skills o Good communication skills o Innovative and resourceful
