Summary



The role of Groups Pricing Section Manager, Products & Pricing, is to be responsible for the development and implementation of groups pricing strategies and tactics for a given set of routes/ markets, utilizing pricing measures.



Responsibilities

Pricing Development & Strategy

Assess and segment demand based on market conditions Maximize revenue by developing optimal group fare structure on all routes and beyond points originating from assigned point of origin/commencement Identify opportunities for groups pricing actions for incremental traffic Benchmark and monitor pricing strategy vs competition Set group policy, procedures and fares for a given portfolio of markets Work closely with revenue analysts, pricing analysts, overseas managers and market contacts to identify revenue opportunities and take early pricing actions

Systems Settings/ Maintenance

Ensure timely and accurate update of fares and settings in relevant distribution channels Drives best practices within the team and ensure processes are cascaded and adhered to

People Management

Assign work and monitor to ensure quality and completion; seeks developmental opportunities for team Regularly provides objective and actionable performance feedback Aside from being individually innovative, also able to foster collaboration amongst team members

Requirements



3-5 years of experience in a similar role Strong numerical and analytical skills with commercial acumen Excellent communication skills and experience in working with people at all levels Able to handle simultaneous projects and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
