The Secure Web Access Engineer supports the IT Organisation in engineering, implementing and operation of IT Security relevant services (e.g. Secure Web Access, Secure Remote Access, Authentication Services, and others).

YOUR CHALLENGE

KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION

Main Job Responsibilities

• Develop and operate Secure Web Access and VPN Solutions
• Drive On-Prem solution to cloud
• Second and Third level support including on duty
• Drive the automation and scalability of the solutions
• Advise team members, application teams and architects on Secure Web Access and other security solutions related topics and facilitate proactive knowledge transfer
• Support application- and projects team with requests for Internet Access
• Develop tools and capabilities to improve the security, performance and stability of Secure Web Access and other security solutions
• Analyse new or changed requirements for their feasibility and complexity as well as their effects on existing / planned systems, standards and guidelines (requirement engineering)
• Provide on-call (7/24h) support where needed

Client Management (internal & external)

• Various IT functions, both regionally and globally
• Local Legal and Compliance functions

Business Management

• Key local stakeholders include IT Service Owners, IT Infrastructure, IT Application Managers, IT Architecture and Project Managers
• CRO functions \xe2\x80\x93 including Business Operational Risk, Information Security and Compliance functions
• Global functions \xe2\x80\x93 Security Solutions
• Establish strong relationship with key stakeholders and across the internal IT

Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management

• Ensure appropriate ethical and compliant behaviour within the area of responsibility by clear demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Professional and Technical

• Excellent Knowhow of Secure Web Access and client VPN solutions
• Good know how in other security solutions like SmartCard, PKI and HSM
• Solid understanding of security best practices, attack vectors and mitigation measures
• Solid understanding of various authentication and federation mechanisms such as SAML, Kerberos, ADFS
• Solid foundation in networking fundamentals, with good understanding of Internet network protocol suite and appropriate analysing tools
• Advanced troubleshooting and structured problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of operating systems including Linux/Unix/Windows
• Good understanding of DevOps and automation (Ansible, python, scripting)
• Higher professional education or comparable education (CISSP) with relevant practical knowledge
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills
