A CAREER WITH POINT72'S SECURITIES LENDING TEAM

Point72's Securities Lending team operates within the firm's broader Treasury division, responsible for financing the firm's multiple asset classes by interacting directly with our prime brokers to source liquidity and negotiate financing rates. The team also utilizes data analysis to identify market trends and maximize financing efficiencies. Internally, the group works closely with the execution traders, portfolio managers, Compliance, Tax, Technology, and Operations.



Curate market color and analytics for execution traders and portfolio managers in support of lending and financing strategies. Assist in running spread and position analyses on cash and swap books to help traders make informed decisions. Collaborate with our financing partners (prime brokers, swap brokers) to gather market intelligence. Work with the Treasury Technology group to source data, develop reports, and automate processes that improve operational efficiency. Support cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing financing costs and identifying new revenue opportunities.

Participate in projects focusing on enhancing tools, analytics, and workflows to support our team's operations Receive a hands-on experience in a variety of operational functions that are essential to the success of a global investment firm

WHAT'S REQUIRED

Anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027 Foundational knowledge of equities and related financial products Proficiency in Excel and Python Strong analytical, writing, verbal communication, and technical skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the team Ability to conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity at all times Commitment to the highest ethical standards
