About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented

Securities Settlements Analyst

to join a high-performing operations team within a leading global financial institution. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a keen eye for operational risk to gain regional market exposure and work closely with trading and sales teams.


You will be part of a team that ensures the timely and accurate settlement of securities transactions while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure timely settlement of securities trades in compliance with market deadlines and regulations Perform

pre-matching and fail trade management

to support Japan market hours Liaise with

brokers, counterparties, and agent banks

via email and phone to resolve breaks and discrepancies Maintain operational controls and risk-mitigation processes Prepare and review reports for internal stakeholders Manage high volumes of transactions with accuracy under strict time constraints Work closely with internal teams such as trading desks and inventory management

Who We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

1-2 years of experience in

securities settlements

or a similar financial operations function Familiarity with

equities markets

, preferably in a Japan or Asia-Pacific context Strong

analytical and problem-solving

abilities High attention to detail and strong

risk awareness

Excellent

communication and coordination skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with financial systems is an advantage

Additional Information

Working Hours:

Aligned with Japan market hours (SG-based team)

Contract Duration:

6 months (with potential for extension, subject to business needs)

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid work model may apply
