:

JPMorgan Chase & Co. Global Technology Applied Research is pursuing the research and development of emerging technologies like quantum computing, quantum communications, cryptography, block chain, and AR/VR. Our Singapore Office is seeking a security architect/engineer to research and develop state-of-the-art software solutions to manage access, secrets, and identity in quantum-safe networks. As a key member of the Global Technology Applied Research Team, you will work closely with internal project teams, senior management, and external communities to advance next-generation information technologies for deployment in the firm.

Job responsibilities:

• Design, propose and review security protocols and software architectures for quantum-safe networks
• Review cybersecurity policies, procedures and technical security requirements in collaboration with internal cybersecurity and control teams
• Technology Evaluation and Tracking: Keep abreast of latest quantum-safe security protocols and their developments.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information System Engineering
• 3+ years of relevant R&D experience in Key Management Systems, Symmetric Cryptography Systems, and Kerberos
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNSSEC, TLS, IPSec, and Kerberos
• Some familiarity with Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and NIST Special Publications
• Some basic understanding on the Key Management Schemes of AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Experience in technical writing in a scientific or technical field
• Excellent written and visual presentation skills
• Ability to represent the firm externally at academic and industry conferences as well as speaking engagements

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Familiarity and or experience in financial services is preferred
• Familiarity with quantum security/technology is preferred

The Chief Technology Office oversees enabling components inclusive of the top quality engineering and architecture tools and practices, key program management and processes as well as the technology workforce strategy required to make us a leading technology company for our customers, clients and colleagues around the world.

High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters.
