The Global Security Organization provides industry-leading cybersecurity and business protection services to TikTok globally. Our organization employs four principles that guide our strategic and tactical operations. In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office for 2 to 3 days a week, as directed by their manager. The Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance team is responsible for working closely with cross-functional partners to manage security risks to ensure we meet all industry cybersecurity compliance standards and government regulations through developing governing policies, implementing the security control framework, conducting security risk and control assessments, and staying up-to-date on global compliance initiatives.

Role
The Security Controls Management Lead involves overseeing the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of a comprehensive cybersecurity continuous controls monitoring program within the Global Security Organization. You would be a great fit for this role if you are enthusiastic about:
1. Creating and implementing an industry-leading cybersecurity continuous controls monitoring program with comprehensive reporting
2. Guiding a team of exceptional risk and controls specialists in effectively identifying, assessing, and managing cybersecurity controls and framework
3. Fostering collaboration and cross-functional partnerships to help spread awareness and drive the implementation and validation of cybersecurity controls
4. Pivoting projects and initiatives to stay up-to-date with a fast-paced environment
5. Providing candid and clear feedback on critical cybersecurity initiatives from policies to application designs and much more!
Responsibilities
As the Security Controls Management Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development and implementation of the cybersecurity controls management and reporting strategy and supporting processes to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements including ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS standards
  • Leading a team to identify, implement, test, and monitor a comprehensive cybersecurity controls framework while developing innovative mitigating control strategies with product and business teams
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of controls embedded within their operational procedures to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Leading the automation of the cybersecurity controls management program and reporting capabilities to capture control maturity while leveraging leading GRC technologies
  • Staying up-to-date on current cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, trends, and best practices to proactively evolve the cybersecurity control framework
  • Developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the cybersecurity controls management program
  • Communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders and leaders on cybersecurity risk and controls management topics and program-specific reporting
  • Mentoring and developing team members to enhance their professional growth and expertise in cybersecurity controls management
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of transforming and leading cybersecurity controls management programs with in-depth knowledge and experience of cybersecurity frameworks including ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC, NIST CSF and regulatory requirements
  • Experience collaborating closely with security partners, including incident response, red teams, architects, and engineers to seamlessly incorporate cybersecurity controls into their day-to-day operations
  • Team player that embraces change and thrives in a fast-paced environment while leading and motivating a team of experienced cybersecurity control management specialists
  • Motivated self-starter who is resourceful and has the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across different products, business lines, and regions
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to document, communicate, and report on the status of the implementation and effectiveness of cybersecurity controls with product and business leaders
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and execute security projects and initiatives on time and within budget
  • Ability to work at the Singapore office for 2 to 3 days per week and be willing to travel to other offices, including international locations, as required to support business needs
Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years of cybersecurity experience related to working experience managing projects and teams related to controls management, compliance, information security, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) technologies such as RSA Archer or ServiceNow
  • CISM, CISA, CISSP, CCSP, CASP, Security+, CRISC, CGEIT, GSEC, or other relevant certifications
