Job Title: Security Engineer III


Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Engineer III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems and protocols to protect our organization's information and technology assets. This role requires a deep understanding of security best practices and the ability to respond to security incidents effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard sensitive information. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements. Monitor security systems for potential threats and respond to incidents in a timely manner. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations of systems and applications. Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions. Provide training and support to staff on security awareness and best practices. Assist in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems). Experience with risk assessment and management methodologies. Familiarity with network protocols and security architecture. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security or a related field. Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are preferred.
