What the role is
The Government Technology Agency (GovTech) aims to transform the delivery of Government digital services by taking an "outside-in" view, putting citizens and businesses at the heart of everything we do. We also develop the Smart Nation infrastructure and applications, and facilitate collaboration with citizens and businesses to co-develop technologies. Join us as we support Singapore’s vision of building a Smart Nation - a nation of possibilities empowered through info-communications technology and related engineering. You will play a key role in the Government Cyber Defence (GCD) of Cyber Security Group (CSG) as Cybersecurity Project Manager under the Cyber Threat Detection team to manage and deliver advanced threat hunting capabilities to detect threats that evade security solutions, to reduce the dwell time of detection of cyber threats. Successful candidate will be responsible for simultaneously executing multiple security related projects which focus mainly on enabling and delivering threat hunting capabilities and platforms (including associated log collection pipelines) and will work directly with multiple parties in ensuring smooth system deployment and operationalisation.
What you will be working on
• Manage and deliver multiple security infrastructure consists of threat hunting platforms deployments at remote locations • Ensure timeliness in delivering the projects deliverables • Create thorough and accurate reports, and status updates on projects, present findings to stakeholders on a regular basis • Ensure the operational readiness of the deployed infrastructure that allows the successful threat hunting activities to be conducted • Provide guidance and decision making to allow the forward deployed engineers in overcoming various challenges when needed • Planning and forecasting of budgets • Managing project teams and effectively delegating responsibilities and tasks priotisation to team members

What we are looking for
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Security or equivalent • Professional certifications in Project Management (e.g. PMP) • Preferably 4 years or more of experience in a project management role in IT domains • Must have significant and extensive work experience as a project manager in the cybersecurity domain e.g. program managing complex Technology infrastructure projects • Good interpersonal and presentation skills, collaborative and self-directed • Effective leadership and delegation abilities • Experience in public sector technical writing and procurement processes an advantage • Time management skills – should be able to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously • Solid understanding in using tools such as Jira and Microsoft Project • Project delivery with a strong technical leadership background in various security, network, and Cloud Product suites such as AWS/Azure/GCP etc. • Knowledge in SCRUM or DevOps. • Knowledge of ITIL processes and procedures. • Experience in managing projects involving the deployment of SIEM tools like QRadar, Splunk or ELK, or Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS) • Experience in using cybersecurity tools such as Zeek and Security Onions Other Requirements: • Demonstrate a high degree of integrity, initiative, energy, and endurance • Critical thinking and contextual analysis abilities • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills • Singapore Citizen only We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company as we believe that diversity is meaningful to innovation.
