Job Description

:We are seeking expressions of interest for an upcoming security engagement, embedded with one of Control Risks' international clients in the energy sector. Based in Singapore, this is a greenfield, project-focused role which will have responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of security policies, directives, and programs within the near region.Duties will include:Physical Security:

• Lead security requirements of any local security regulatory programs
• Provide leadership to site leaders in the performance management of the security contract guard service providers and system maintenance vendors
• Conduct business reviews with security partners to ensure service quality and compliance with Global Security standards and KPIs
• Continual development and application of technical knowledge on security systems/access controls/IDS/VMS/CCTV etc

Security Risk Management:

• Lead site security assessments in the territory and on external projects as requested, including audits of supplier sites
• Manage the identified risks within the territory from the risk register and support corrective actions to mitigate vulnerabilities

General Security Management:

• Lead initial incident investigations and escalate as necessary
• Create and lead the territory's security awareness program
• Maintain and grow strong networks with local law enforcement, government agencies, intelligence communities and foreign embassies

Requirements:

• Security certification preferred (e.g., ASIS: APP, PSP, CPP, CMCE, CEM)
• Security and risk management oversight. Experience managing large multi-faceted industrial and/or research and development workplaces preferred
• Change management experience in people, change and process improvement
• Previous experience developing programs in collaboration with cybersecurity a plus
• Minimum of 5 years progressive security experience with multi-national company
• Understanding of relevant security disciplines
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Maintains active network of law enforcement, foreign embassies and security professionals
• Project management skills, including organization, time & people management
• Autonomous and solution-driven
• Technical knowledge and oversight of ACS/IDS/VMS/CCTV security technology
• The right to work in Singapore without a requirement for visa sponsorship
