Keeping our hotel safe to our colleagues and guests are your number one priority as a Security Officer. Your tasks involved patrolling the hotel premises, raising incident reports, carrying out safety briefings, assist in fire drills and attending to emergencies.

What\'s the job about?

• Report to Manager all hotel property deficiencies and safety or security hazards
• Control access points as assigned to ensure no unauthorized entry
• Maintain keen vigilance at colleague entrance where colleagues, casual labours and visitors check in
• Patrol guest floors, heart of house and check entry and exit points
• Ensure all operating procedures are adhered to
• Monitor CCTV cameras
• Arrange Night Transport requests for colleagues
• Respond to emergencies as a member of CERT / Certified First Aider
• Be familiar with fire / work place safety procedure guided by hotel\xe2\x80\x99s emergency plan in any case of fire outbreak
• Escort VIPs and dignitaries
• Engage guest confidently & appropriately
• Be alert for any unusual packages, guests or vehicles and advise superior

Ideally, you should possess a GCE \'O\' level qualification or have a valid security officer licence. You are proactive, have an eye for details and is able to stay alert & professional at all times. This job position will require you to work rotating shift hours.
