Job Description
Job Purpose
To ensure the safety and security of guests, associates and the hotel properties and assets through efficient and effective execution of hotel security duties and procedures.
Principle Accountabilities
- To maintain surveillance of areas that are frequented by guests and all work areas.
- To maintain vigil surveillance on the CCTV and the Fire Alarm System (FAS), inform security officer on patrol or static duties of any unusual events immediately.
- Responsible for the security and protection of Hotel properties, guests and associates.
- To execute security procedures according to Security Operating Procedures.
- To carry out all other tasks assigned by Security Duty Manager/ Assistant Security Manager/ Director of Security.
- Hold valid security license
- Preferred: 1-2 years of security and safety experience and / or military / law enforcement experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- WSQ Security Certifications
- 2 rotating shifts, night shift required
- Working knowledge of local laws, investigation methods, OSHA requirements and fire safety and life safety codes.
