- 12 months contract for a start, convertible to permanent
About Our Client
The client is a tier 1 reinsurance firm, ranked within the top five globally. With a rich history of fifty years, my client has a global presence of more than thirty countries.
As a senior accountant, you will be responsible for finance and accounting matters of the firm. Key duties includes:
- Complete reporting requirements in accordance with IFRS
- Complete quarter end tasks such as raising journals, reconciliations and filings
- Conduct financial results analysis for Group Reporting
- Oversee general ledger, budgeting and forecasting process
- Ensure technical and non-technical items are properly accounted for in SAP
- Preparation of IFRS tax computation and IFRS closing deliverable
- Preparation of insurance returns and financial statements
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in relevant field
- At-least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in insurance/reinsurance industry
- Experience in auditing insurance companies is welcomed to apply
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
