Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, the Accountant / Senior Accountant has primary responsibility to support review of the accounting, financial reporting and control processes for all subsidiaries.
He / She will be tasked to support the Group Finance Team to review month-end close work processes in the company, and support implementation of new systems, key financial controls and drive process changes, as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting
\xc2\xb7 Review costing and project accounting for group\'s operations in Singapore.
\xc2\xb7 Review all intercompany activities and ensure all transactions are correctly booked in the accounts.
\xc2\xb7 Review month-end financial reports including P&L, Balance Sheet and cashflow reports for several group entities.
Audit & Tax Reporting
\xc2\xb7 Work with external auditors and tax agent to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements.
\xc2\xb7 Prepare Annual audited financial statements for Group & subsidiaries.
\xc2\xb7 Review quarterly GST Returns and Annual Tax Filings for the Group & subsidiaries.
Cashflow Control
\xc2\xb7 Support Management in preparation of cashflow reports, as required.
Budgeting, Financial Planning & Analysis
\xc2\xb7 Support Management in preparation of Actual vs Budget reports, as required.
Legal & Statutory
\xc2\xb7 Liaise with Corporate Secretary on statutory matters related to Group and its subsidiaries, as required.
Others
\xc2\xb7 Guide and develop Finance support staff, as appropriate on accounting matters.
\xc2\xb7 Participate in projects and ERP system implementation / enhancement exercises.
\xc2\xb7 Support Group Finance in setup and deployment of appropriate Finance Policies and Procedures.
\xc2\xb7 Assume other Finance and Accounting responsibilities as assigned.
Education & Experience
\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting / Finance, completed ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualifications.
\xc2\xb7 Minimum 4 to 6 years post-graduate experience in Finance, Accounting & Budgeting.
\xc2\xb7 Experience working with ERP systems, preferably with understanding and experience on Order-to-Cash and Purchase-to-Pay cycles.
