This is not your typical accounting role. We're looking for a sharp, problem-solving Senior Accountant who is passionate about building things and making a tangible impact.

What will I be doing?

Full-Set Accounting:

Own the full spectrum of accounting for our group entities, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.

Month-End Closing:

Lead a timely and efficient month-end and year-end closing process, including the preparation of bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for management review, providing clear and concise supporting schedules.

Team Mentorship & Review:

Act as the primary technical guide for our finance specialists. You will review their work, including commission calculations, payment runs, and invoice processing, to ensure accuracy and provide constructive feedback.

Process Improvement:

Partner with the VP of Finance to analyze current financial workflows, identify bottlenecks, and actively support the implementation of more efficient processes and systems.

Audit & Compliance:

Lead the annual audit process by preparing all necessary schedules, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors, and resolving queries to ensure a successful and timely completion. You will also manage preparations for GST and corporate tax filings.

What is required of me?

Experience:

4-5 years of hands-on, full-set accounting experience.

Skills:

You are an Excel whiz and are comfortable with modern accounting software (e.g., Xero). You have a degree in Accountancy or Finance (ACCA/CPA is a plus).
