Job Title Senior Accountant

We are now looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Singapore or Hong Kong.

You will be a key member of the team that is directly responsible for managing the accounting functions by establishing and enforcing all accounting policies and procedures including but not limited to accounts payables, account receivables, travel & expenses, credit management & financial reporting in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea. You will also manage the outsourced financial accounting services for KR and TW offices and will be reporting to Finance Manager, North Asia.

This position is based in Singapore or Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts for 3 entities: Hongkong (HK) /Korea (KR)/Taiwan (TW)
• Liaise with banks for HK/KR/TW entities, prepare bank payment instructions and bank reconciliations.
• Process supplier invoices and booking for HK.
• Review and process payment for employees\xe2\x80\x99 expenses claims for HK entity.
• Responsible for accounts receivables for HK/KR/TW and collection.
• Inter-company AR/AP reconciliation for three entities.
• Responsible for general ledger e.g. accruals/provisions.
• Work with accounting firms in KR/TW for accounting matters.
• Month-end closing, group finance report submission.
• Prepare and review balance sheet accounts reconciliations.
• Draft internal controls procedures e.g. accounting, tax process.
• Work with accounting firm for taxation matters (CIT, VAT/GST, WHT)
• Responsible for annual external audit and review audit reports
• Assist in annual budget, forecast and planning process.
• Key player in finance related projects (e.g. Workday expenses claims system, supplier payment proposal automation, ERP implementation etc.)
• Support finance administration work and ad-hoc work if required.

Qualification

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA III or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 years relevant working experience in a multinational company
• Practical working knowledge of local regulations (e.g. accounting, tax) in HK, KR, TW
• Good oral and written communication skills in English, Mandarin.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills and good ERP finance module knowledge.
• Strong sense of responsibility, problem-solving skill, and team spirit.
• Able to work well independently and in group with tight timelines.
• Able to multitask and willing to be hands-on.
• Customer oriented, self-motivated, adaptable to changes, good organization and analytical skills.
